In OpenID (1 or 2) the delegate (OP-local identifier) is not required
to be resolved at all. Therefore, delegate MUST NOT ever be used as a
synonym for the user's identifier.

OpenID itself does not provide a synonym mechanism, except supporting
that which is native to XRI.
