[OpenID board] Technical Committee Chairs

My position is that it is too early in the process to conclude that openID connect as proposed by some (but not contributed to the OIDF) yet is in appropriate to become the basis for vNext.

David has indicated he believes that they are something different.

Wanting a unified spec is not a criticism of "openID connect".

That is why I think it is false to assume that there is a camp opposed to "openID connect" just because a pro camp exists.

I tink that is an artificial devision.

If so, the technical committee's role is simply to make both happen, and we can trust the committee, regardless of the chairs, to do that job well and without conflict.

If the OIDF helps make that happen, then it could be called OpenID Connect. If not, then it will be called something else. Seems pretty simple, really.

Dick brought up how there could be a conflict during this process given that he is the chair of the Technical Committee. So for the time being I'll take on the chair role with Joseph Smarr (who wasn't at the meeting but I spoke to a few hours ago) taking on the co-chair role.
