Subject: 7 day discussion period notification: change in the bylaws for online voting

As was discussed at the EC meeting today, our current bylaws require 7 day notification/discussion period and 7 day voting period for any board vote not conducted live in real time (in person or conference call). While this is appropriate for major decisions, it has the potential to delay decision making for routine, administrative topics.

This serves as a motion, supported by the EC, to amend the bylaws to allow for a 3 day notification/discussion and 3 day voting period for routine administrative decisions. Both 3 day periods shall be during normal working days (i.e. not holidays and weekends).

In 7 days there will be an online board vote on this motion. Please share any feedback with the group during this time.

Cheers,

Brian
