All the candidates received a sufficient number of seconds to be eligible
for election. We have 17 candidates for 7 seats. The voting will start
tomorrow.

Seems like Mike Jones would be the best one to put this out, Mike?

Cheers,

+1.

It would also be useful, perhaps, to layout a simple, step-by-step list of
the process to take place for the election for those folks who might be just
joining or looking to vote.

The primary election page [1] is missing this information, and it would be
nice if this process was spelled out on the site somewhere convenient.

It would be good to have an official statement from the elections committee
on the results of the nomination phase, *prior* to the elections opening
(would that be midnight pacific time?)

It could be as simple as stating who has been qualified to run.
