[OpenID board] agenda for call tomorrow?

This is one of my concerns, you are right. Thank you for starting a  
dialogue on this.

The larger one, perhaps less of a concern than a goal, is an attempt  
to nudge us into moving from a bunch of people who happen to know  
each other and who try to work together on certain common interests,  
to becoming an effective board.

The simplest ;-) way of being an effective board is to start acting  
like one, I believe. And that starts with
1. a common understanding of who has which role and what  
responsibilities that entails
2. everybody living up to those responsibilities as a matter of course.

That's the table stakes for a board. Once we don't have to think  
about them any more because things always happen that way, we can  
start to actually do our work as a board and be effective.

We need to get there as quickly as possible, for our own sanity (less  
waste of time and energy) and for the OpenID community as a whole  
that depends on us to do a good job.
